J.T is a J.E.T…

jt-jet

Yes it’s official that Jason Taylor has become a NY Jet. It’s sad news that came late yesterday afternoon. It’s reportedly a 2-year $13.75 million deal. In a small press conference Jason Taylor stated that he only had one offer, and it was from the Jets. Whatever the excuse, whatever the circumstance Taylor is now a Jet and all I have to say is good riddance. The trifecta had already said they would meet with J.T. AFTER this weeks draft. I guess Jason couldn’t wait until the weekend. Looks like we’re going to be looking a little harder at OLB in the draft…

Jason Taylor Back From Vacation

According to profootballtalk.com JT and his family have returned from they’re vacation and a decision should be coming soon.My take is that JT will wait until after the draft this week until making his decision. I still think he will end up a Dolphin but some people believe that he is serious about becoming a Jet. All I have to say to those people is that If JT wanted to become a Jet he would have done it by now. Taylor has been playing in Miami for a while now and has a genuine hate for the team and it’s fans. But if Miami dosen’t offer him anything I guess he will have no other choice. Someones gotta put food on the table right?

Bradon Marshall in Dolphins Uniform Sig!

Brandon Marshall Uni Change/Sig

Marshall in, Ginn out

Allot has happened this week. And I must say it has been the most exciting week of free-agency for the fins so far. On Wednesday Brandon Marshall signed a lucrative $40 million deal with the fins making him one of the highest paid WR in the league. And on the flip side of things Ted Ginn was traded today to the San Fransisco 49ers for a 5th round pick. I honestly never thought we could have gotten any more than a 6th for the butter fingers of Ted Ginn, especially considering the Jets got Santonio Holmes for a 5th. Yes the same Santonio Holmes who made the game winning catch in the 2008 Supper Bowl.

I still would have liked to see what Ginn could have acomplished with Brandon Marshall on the feild demanding double coverage. O well, I guess we’ll never know now.

Ronnie a Gonner?

On Saturday, Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports said that a Pro Bowl running back is on the block, and that he could soon be traded.  Conventional wisdom point to Bills running back Marshawn Lynch, even though the NFL eventually will run out of cold turkey and lettuce, wilted or otherwise.

Earlier today, Adam Schefter of ESPN threw another name into the mix — Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown.

Though Brown has been the wizard of the Wildcat in Miami, the Dolphins supposedly have dangled him from time to time over the past year or so.

I personally don’t see this happening unless the Trifecta plan on acquiring C.J. Spiller. As of now this is all just speculation. There’s nothing that really points to this actually taking place. Ronnie has been the only consistent player on the roster. Although he is well known for consistently ending up on IR and more recently jail. Hopefully he stays healthy, out of trouble, and a Dolphin!
